Speaking in an interview, Foloko urged the teams led by Head Coach Douglas Kalembo to remain focused on their goal of qualifying for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

"We have the best athletes that Coach Kalembo has assembled, and I would like to assure them that all logistical issues will be addressed working together with the Zambia Athletics Executive led by Elias Mpondela, us the NOC, and the Government through the Minister of Youth, Sport and Arts," Foloko stated.

The Zambian contingent in the Bahamas includes three athletes supported by Olympic Solidarity: Niddy Mingilish, Rhoda Njobvu, and Muzala Samukonga. Foloko expressed his desire to see the athletes compete in Paris, saying, "We wish them all the best, and we want to be with the athletes in Paris."
